Blackpool Congress 2023

Blackpool Congress 2023 has just completed, with over 330+ entries. A full report will appear in due course, in the meantime congratulations to IM Ameet Ghasi who won the Open Section with a 100% score of 5/5. It was not all plain sailing, in Round 5 his opponent Andrew Burnett provide some stiff opposition was had an opening advantage. The experience of the IM told in the end, as Andrew over pressed and was eventually overrun by Ameet.
